Thanks everyone for coming out to Brenda’s Cafe this morning. We had 14 today. Leo Clegg even showed up. His shoulder is getting better and better. Great seeing him.
Today we had a great group. They were (according to where folks sat at the table) Steve Rogers, John Hamilton, Todd Merryman, Dr. Neil Smith, me (Ed the Enigma), Mr. Bill Harakidas (think I actually spelled that correctly), Mike Newlun, Mike Rowland, Sir Leo Clegg, Mr. Don Shepard, Joe Guyselman, Mr. Jim Eickman, our Technical Director Glenn Brouwer and never ever last nor least .. Mr. Fred Harmon. I’m so glad Fred got the latest update notice on our RTE destination change. Praying that he wasn’t the only one showing up over in Theodosia. Anyway, a real fun group today. Brenda’s is just a great local place for us to graze and just gather our bearings for what’s next to come.

Lastly, weather is looking pretty good for next week. Kind of thinking about a Wednesday (4/22) Hump Day RTE. Stand by for more info on that ride event.

- Steve Rogers and I had a nice conversation about the upcoming Baxter Volunteer Auxiliary banquet this month and the free gifts he can anticipate receiving. Now that I’m on the HOPE board .. I’ll make sure to get you extra hand squeeze balls and plastic pill organizers.

- Leo was again trying to sell stuff at our ROMEO gatherings. A form of pan handling. Think he was selling ROMEO stickers. Fred was side stepping away quickly. I give those stickers away for free ! May want to consider starting a Go FundMe page for Leo.

- John Hamilton had Mike Newlun in his cross hairs about something. John can be very intense at times .. and other times just so sweet and loveable.

- So good to see Leo again. He was cautiously holding his right hand so no-one would try to shake it. Let’s all please let his new shoulder heal just a bit longer before manhandling him too much. We need him back full time.

- Mike Newlun and Neil were showing off some odd dance moves. Neil saw Mike Rowland performing the chicken dance a few RTEs ago .. and has since mastered the moves. Pretty pitiful if you ask me. Like two busted wrists. Todd is still trying to decide if he wants to continue his membership. Please stay.

- Almost time to head into the feeding trough. Folks still enjoying good conversation. I don’t think I heard one conversation today about Neil’s V11 vacuum issue. By God I think he has it fixed.

- Leo looked good today. Can’t wait for him to start riding his Can Am again. Like to finish our drag race soon. I may switch over to my TL1000R.

- Chumlee from the TV series Pawn Stars was in town from Las Vegas to look at starting up a new pawn shop in our area. He said he just sold his 4 million dollar home in Vegas and is about to close on 3 acres with a double wide here in Arkansas. I told him he would do VERY well to consult with our very own Jim Eickman on the business. Jim knows the business so well.
