Hey everyone. A few folks have requested a return to the new Between the Buns Bar & Grill in Calico Rock Arkansas. Fantastic place and great food. The weather looks pretty good on Wednesday April 8. Mid 70s and nice. Hope it stays that way.

If anyone wants to ride together over to Between The Buns this coming Wednesday, let’s meet up at the Briarcliff sign at 10:15am. That may get us to the bar and grill a few minutes before 11am so we can start our fellowship early.

Great Ride To Eat (RTE) today !! Thanks everyone for riding down or up to the Between the Buns Bar & Grill in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Great place and very good food. They accommodated us well. Riley and Ashton took great care of us. All the staff were great.
We had 18 riders. Nice turnout. They were .. and in the general order of where folks sat at the table .. Todd & Scott Merryman, Mike McClendon, Ted Terrel, Mike Rowland, Don Shepard, Joe Guyselman, Neil Smith, John Hamilton, Jim Eickman, myself Ed Burger, Mike Newlun, Bill Harakidas, Glenn Brouwer, Gary Oden, Joey Crawford and also Junior & Shirley Wege (the Himalayan team). What a great turnout !!!
Beautiful day with a few gusty winds. Hope everyone made it home safe. Look forward to seeing you next week. A somewhat unsettled weather pattern for next week. We’re gonna ride or we’ll do a Drive To Eat (DTE) to a good local place for breakfast. We always have a great time with the local Mountain Home breakfast DTEs when the weather misbehaves.
I’ll have a great place to post for next week - weather pending. See you soon.

- Todd Merryman’s Triumph Tiger .. he wife Michelle has no problem with him having as many bikes as he wants. Same with guns .. top shelf bourbons, etc. He hit the lottery.

- My buddy Ted Terrel. Have a great trip to Scotland and Ireland. Bring us all back a souvenir please. See you back in May. Enjoy those long airplane rides. A good book and a couple old fashions should help.

- My TL1000R Suzuki. It’s fun but it just ain’t a two stroke.

- Mike Rowland’s Versys 300. My wife loves the color. If it were pink with lime green dots .. she would same the same thing .. think she just likes you man.

- Triumph Scrambler 1200. Very cool bike and nice color.

- Mike Newlun’s smooth riding FZ1 Yamaha. He bought that bike when it had 1400 miles .. now it has almost 40,000. He told me it’s been a great bike. Mike keeps his bikes in top shape.

- Bill’s Aprilia missle. That bike has the best exhaust sound. Beautiful colors too. No I don’t want to buy it. No more room in my garage.

- The gang visiting and waiting for the good grub to arrive. Don was in position and ready to deliver the prayer but the natives were just too hungry and restless. We appreciate Don.

- John is teaching Neil the fast hands technique. I think Neil may have it. May even help him wrench his fleet of agriculturally beautiful Moto Guzzis with greater speed and efficiency. Right.

- Junior and Shirley Wege. They rode down from Table Rock Lake. 120 mile ride back there after lunch. Junior said it was a windy ride heading back to the lake after lunch. Great seeing them both. Safe travels to you both and come see us again real soon.

- Joe .. isn’t that what you ordered !? Taco salad man. Looks really good. John is watching me so I don’t reach over for a sample. His hands are very quick .. he keeps a close watch over me to ensure I don’t make a fool of myself. I do appreciate him.

- Neil .. let Riley set it down first before you start grabbing at it. It looked quite tasty. Bet you forgot the jalapeños. Neil and I love our food ultra spicy. Easy Jim. Grab another shrimp off my plate until your food arrives.
