Let's make a ride Friday the 27th to Dutch Country Cafe in Garnett. I'm pretty sure it's been a year if not over since we have been there. Eleven seems to work pretty well for most, until it starts getting really hot, so that is when we will meet. Dutch Country is a class act Mennonite cafe in a small town.
The weather is calling for cooler temps on Friday, 50's, with a slight chance of early morning showers. Guess we will wait to see.
I will plan on meeting you all there @ 11:00 or a little before. If you want breakfast, you need to be a little before.

FYI: There has been some controversy in the past concerning the 20% gratuity for groups. Their current policy is this: If we reserve the back room, we get the automatic 20%. If we sit up front, we get none. However, they are always so busy we would be scattered all over the cafe. Therefore, I reserved the backroom. Hope that works for everyone. She said to just consider this your tip.

Only in Kansas can you go to bed with the AC on in the house only to get up in the middle of the night and turn on the furnace. That's exactly what we encountered Thur. night/Friday morning. Not only was it cold, but it was also very windy. Out of thirteen Romeos that made it to the Dutch Country Cafe, only Long John and Wayne endured the conditions to ride.
As usual, Dutch Country served us well and the food was very good. In my opinion, they are a little pricy since we get the 20% gratuity for reserving the back room, but it is what it is. I don't think anyone was disappointed.
