TRADITIONAL: “NEW YEAR’S POLAR BEAR RIDE!” This is a combined ROMEO RIDE for the young or old. No one should be counted out for our 1st ride of the year! As I’ve said in the past, this is not a ride for the faint-hearted. The requirements are quite simple. If you are able to mount your trusty stead, then come join us. The other alternative is to crawl in a “CAGE,” better known as your "AUTOMOBILE."

As of now, the long-range weather forecast will be a bit on the brisk side, but in the 40’s and sunny all day. “All I can say is, it’s winter weather!” If you are feeling bored and have a need for something to do, or place to go,” come on down to Green Acres. Everyone is invited and welcome to join in with us.

HERE’S THE SCOOP: For those who may be new to our group you will find this place warm and welcoming! Many of us ROMEOs are familiar with the Green Acres Family Restaurant, Vassar, KS. It is one of our favorites. It is the one and only cafe located near the Pomona Dam on Ks. Hwy 268. The cafe has graciously reserved their back room just for us. This is a Breakfast or lunch ride; it won’t matter the time, just come and enjoy the day! Until then, “HAPPY NEW YEAR” and hope to see you all there!

What another NEW YEAR'S RIDE !!! It was a bit chilly going down to Vaser, Ks, and I kept from freezing my entire body, all but my knee caps. I needed an extra layer over my lower torso. We had a good turnout in spite of the cold. Here are the photos showing the results of our day's event.
