The production of Noah and spectacular. You cannot see one of their presentations and not be impressed.
Leaving Noah we had a short ride to our motel, the RED CABOOSE. Yes, we actually slept in a real caboose. Kids would probably enjoy sleeping in a caboose more than we did, but it made part of our adventure. The restaurant was on the property, so we didn't have far to go for dinner.
We started Thursday with a visit to Intercourse, PA, where the group enjoyed a good breakfast and shopping at the local stores.
After we slept in a caboose and woke up on the "right side of the track", we took a bus tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield.
Being exhausted from all the "killing" on the battlefield we relaxed at the Appalachian Brewing Company.
With our stomach's exploding from all the food we had eaten, we needed to take a walk and explore the area. Along the route Warren's brother, Scott, pointed out an ICE CREAM STORE that he knew his brother couldn't pass up. All agreed this wasn't just ordinary ice cream.
After breakfast on Friday we headed back to the Battlefield Tour Center to see the Film, Cyclorama & Museum Experience, equally as informative as the bus tour.
Dee, Scott, Betsy and Warren all being familiar with the area provided us with lots of fun and interesting places to visit. It was a fun filled two days.
On the ride home Betsy knew Melissa has always wanted to go to the Harper's Ferry Brewing Co. So that is where we stopped for lunch. The view is spectacular and pretzels great. In the pictures you can see the rafts/tubes on the Potomac. No trip with Warren ends without ice cream
