What an unexpected delight! Tulips, tulips, and more tulips, and we're not even in Holland! Near Manassas, VA, on Burnside Farm at 11008 Kettle Run Rd, we discovered a remarkable tulip farm. I had no idea there were so many stunning varieties of tulips. We were fortunate to visit when they were in full bloom, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.
The beauty was so captivating that it was hard to resist taking countless pictures. It was surprising to see so many people there, all capturing moments among the tulips—for engagements, weddings, proms, graduations, or simply for the sheer beauty of it.
Before heading to Burnside, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Black Sheep Restaurant, located at 9935 Discovery Blvd., Manassas, VA. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and the food was fantastic—even packed at noon on a Monday!
And after a day filled with motorcycling and "tiptoeing through the tulips," we couldn't resist stopping for ice cream at the Apple House in Linden.
What a fun day! Everyone had a great time.
