Hello motorcycle friends and happy New Year’s Eve!
The Polar Bear ride is on for tomorrow January 1st at 1pm. Let’s see who can brave the elements and ride their cycle down to the lodge. If you get your cycle to the lodge tomorrow you are a certified Polar Bear rider!
After a little socializing and a group photo, we’ll determine if it’s safe and if there is interest in doing a group ride. If I feel like I can stay warm enough I will lead an easy 1 hour ride with no stops - 522 north to 340 north to 50 east to 17 south to 55 west to 522 north and back to Lake Fred. If it turns out to be too cold for me to lead the ride we can see if anyone else will volunteer to lead one.

The 4th Annual Polar Bear Ride was a memorable event! Despite the chilly conditions and the unexpected train delay on Rt 17, the group managed to push through and complete the ride. Having 9 Polar Bears and 2 supporters, along with a mix of 8 cyclists and 1 convertible, was quite a good turnout, especially with temperatures feeling so cold due to wind chill. It's great that everyone could come together for such a fun challenge! Here's hoping the next ride is just as successful, with even warmer weather!
