BUDDY LOU'S - HANCOCK, MD 7-24
Warren called a ride to Buddy Lou's in Hancock, MD. He said he would lead the ride to Buddy Lou's and asked if I would lead the return ride. Our track is attached. Warren led a great ride to Hancock, but mine left a little to be desired, as always, but I am trying.
Clarie, John's granddaughter rode with us today. Boy, she is growing up. I remember her riding with us when she was only six or seven. We always enjoy having her along and she is always welcome.Jon added the "humor" for the day. When he got ready to go today, the battery on his TRIUMPH ROCKET III, was dead, so he rode his daughter's bike. Our day was full of antidotes of things that his Rocket III has, that the itty bitty bike didn't have. "TURN OFF YOU TURN-SIGNALS, JON
" No one would ride behind Jon, because of the loud exhaust. Jon continually complained of soreness in his crouch
Jon, thanks for coming along and providing so much entertainment. We left at 9:30 and the temperature and route were perfect. Ralph had joined us for the first part of the ride and then pealed off and headed back to Trilogy for Grand Parents Weekend. After lunch I took the group to an overlook in Little Orleans, MD which has a view of the location of the Little Sturgis Rally.Everyone has been suffering from the heat and not riding much. It was sure nice to beable to get out and have a nice ride. It was fun and we had a good day.
