South Central Lunch Ride - June 5th 2024 11AM

Roger ask me to plan a ride to the south-west so we will visit The Red Rooster in Harper. When confirming, she suggested that 11AM lunch is ideal as that is their slow time. They have a lunch special plus all usual lunch meals, however no breakfast meals at that time. Price is right, service and food has always been spot on, so lets gang up there and enjoy a fine meal and usual ROMEO comradery. Weather looks spectacular next Wednesday.

Plastic or cash is acceptable payment. I'll see you there -

The ladies at The Red Rooster in Harper were spot on ready, polite, friendly and covered us with plenty of smiles as they zipped the food out. All prepared fresh and warm, wonderful meals. Only nit - lighting for photos was way off, serious editing for me - but i actually like doing it, it's all in the challenge.

OK, we had 24 Romeo's today. Two arrived in a pickup cage and 22 rolled in on 20 two or three wheel motorcycle machines. Total one way bike mileage was a hefty 1226 miles. We had a tie for distance riders, 82 miles each by Darren and Paul.

A super day today - lets do it again next week. Considering north-east, I'll firm it Friday and post the ride. Photo's below, do see em.
