South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, February 6, 11:00 AM

Wednesday is forecast to be back into the very cold, mid 20's at lunch time. Early plan was to go to the Derby area, but that will not work this week.
A year ago we went to Villar’s Mexican Cafe on Hillside, and it was well received by all who attended. So, lets do it again. The Mexican food is authentic and plentiful, so come hungry!

Villar’s is on Hillside between Harry to the north and Mt Vernon to the south. The meal will be less than $10, cash or card payment. They expect us and they always give good service. Villar’s will open at 11 AM, tire kicking allowed for those that arrive early. See you there!

Are we still on for today

We had 20 Romeo’s to Villar’s Mexican Cafe today! Considering the ice, wind, cold and road construction, 19 was a great attendance. We all arrived in 4 wheel rides, no bikes on the nasty roads today.

They were ready for us having the long 16 place table set down the middle of the main dining room, and quick to serve our meals and keep our drinks full. I am positive everyone left well fed, their meals are robust with authentic Mexican grub. My lunch burrito was a very filling portion, and only $6.40 total. <--- What a deal!

We’ll have next week ride posted by Saturday, planning a ROMEO favorite.
