I found this place a coming back from an Eastern Kansas Romeo lunch in Fairview. I suggested it to Mick, since it was a little more in his area than ours. But when I started looking for a place for this Tuesday's ride I kept coming across T & D's. So I emailed Mick and ask him if he minded if we ventured into his territory. Of course, he didn't mind and he said he would try to join us. ;)

WARNING: Denise said she can seat 55. Being this close to the Eastern Kansas guys and if the weather is nice, which it doesn't look like it is going to be, we could have a big crowd. So note they open at 7:00 am. I know some of you like to eat early, so have at it. Check out the menu there is a "senior special" and it is TACO TUESDAY $1 Tacos :o

I hope it is a nice day and you can come. Denise and her daughter Asley are very nice and are looking forward to our visit. Eastern Kansas has been to 3 other restaurants in McLouth that are now closed, so let's see if we can Denise and Ashley a little "shot in the arm".

Gary's map shows all the Romeo Rides.

I chose this brown colored font to represent "MUD" :!: Because that was the color of my bike when I got home. :roll:For a long time there were only two that weren't smart enough to drive. John, who it never rains on, came early , ate and left before the rain started  I am sure the "town folk" of McLouth were wondering what all these MISSOURI cars were doing in their town. Couldn't be that Motorcycle Group the "ROMEOS" Some from as far as Butler and others from Lone Jack, MISSOURI.Mary Rose and Bogie brightened the day and everyone's spirits with the new "Romeo" shirts. It is always good to have another "ROGER" in the group. There are just too many "Larry's"I can always count on the "Oatmeal Gang" especially when you have $1 TACOs. :oI know Mick made a special ride over from Lawrence to welcome us to Kansas. For Memorial day, Mick told us he is going to his 94 year old Mother's. She lives in the small town of Wynona near Colby. He told a touching story of how she single handedly lines the cemetary with American flags to honor the fallen. She has done this for many years. Every year she unfolds each flag and proudly displays them along the road beside the cemetary. We were all moved by the story, including Mick, who had a tear in his eye. Mary Rose said " Oh Mick what a sweet story, but don't cry  Mick said "Oh I am not crying I am just about to die from the heat in that TACO SAUCE" :!:  :oops:Nothing that was said about this item was suitable for publication. What it was doing in the restaurant, no one knew and not one ventured a guess
After the Oatmeal Gang arrived we had a nice showing of bike, however I think cars still outnumbered bikes.

Thank to everyone who came today. I know it wasn't easy. We made a nice showing. Denise and Ashley were surprised and please, and you kept me out of "hot water"
