Well Folks I see that it’s been last November since we have been to the Mapleton Cafe so how about we go back and try them again, we have always had good food there and its not a bad ride to the place either, they serve breakfast all day long so if you get there a little late you are still in luck… I just hope that our friends from the south end of the area can make the ride and I hope for good weather too…. The cafe is on the east end of the little town, state highway 65 goes though Mapleton and the cafe is on the south side of the road in a metal building..

Hey Folks… I wont be able to make it to the ride to eat this Friday the 27th or next Friday the 4th Zachary has swimming lessons form 11:00 am till 12:00 everyday this week and next week as well so I will try and see you all on Friday the 11th of July…. Maybe someone can take a few pictures and post if you want to, I will continue to setup the rides for all of you good folks…. Ride Safe Big L

Good call Big L! Food was even better than I remembered from last time. I think I saw John taking photos so will guess he and Linda will post them later. We had four ladies with us today and a younger gal named Ellie. She came with her dad Mark from Fort Scott...she sure is a cutie. We also had four trikes there today! It seems to an an uprising.

I was asked about Maxine...Fred was not there today to give a report. She had five rounds of Chemo and decided not to take the last two which were scheduled. She is doing better and getting out and about as she regains her strength. Time will tell if the treatments she had were enough to at least hold things at bay for a while, or not. Let's keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

Believe we had 22 riders & 18 bikes at Mapleton today. Some pictures are fussy opps. Or maybe the riders were fussy? Turn out to be a very nice day for a ride. We got a few sprinkles on us but the clouds kept it cool on the ride home. Missed you Larry & Zack.

it was a great day. I appreciate the information about Maxine. I asked a few people but they didn't know anything so glad to get the update. Maxine we hope to see you soon.

WOW… Looks like a great turnout today… I wish I could have been there to join all of you… Lyle Thanks for the update on Maxine I hope thing work out for the best for her so they can get back to riding with us again…. Linda and John thanks for the pictures of the event today, fuzzy or not it’s still good to see all the bikes and riders… I got to ask Linda were you on your Harley with it running inside the cafe when you took those pics.. that would explain the fuzzy photos… Ha Ha … I had to do it….
