July 3rd. 2012-HONOR FLIGHT ESCORT: This will be awesome. Starts @ 11PM, yes- PM- and escorts our Hero's from Past Wars to Columbia MO. A 35 mile escort! We just set the World's Record a few months ago, w/514 riders. All makes, all models, all sizes. The bikes meet at the Hwy. 54 & I-70 Junction; at the north intersection at the Fireman's Memorial Parking lot. Rumors have it that THIS ride may be doubled. WHY? Several LARGE Organizations such as the Veterans of VietNam and similar bike groups are announcing their presence. AND...being a 4th. of July Patriotic Venue....look for a whopper of an event. News media is who's-who! Even National Coverage. It is a great cause and when you watch these veterans coming off the buses, tears flow. From ALL!
