Nauvoo ride

Hi, Roy here, new dude. Will try to enter some pix from a ride up to Nauvoo IL

That is NE of Keokuk Iowa. I like it that the highway is right to the side of the river.
Was a nice drive, might be even nicer when leaves are out.


That is one of the old shops there at Nauvoo IL. (State Park and restored LDS historic site.)

This is just about the farthest that I have driven. Started out just after lunch and it was dark by the time
I got back. (Was worried about the 2-lane road past Paris Mo, you can encounter deer there just at dusk!)

I am in Columbia Mo. Used to ride (honda CX-500 twin) bout 27 years ago. Just getting back into it.
Got the chance to get a K-bike (BMW K1100LT se) from Olathe Ks. Only just the other day found out that
the BMW really means Bust My Wallet.


This is me at a CMA ride, must have been Glasgow Mo or therebouts. That's the K-bike. Been to five states in two years.
