Yes! Fall is here and it looks like the temps will follow suite, as long as it doesn't turn really rainy.
Let's meet at the Whistle Stop Cafe in Osawatomie, Ks for lunch next Friday at 11:00 AM. The Whistle Stop has a lunch buffet which isn't huge but has all the essentials for a reasonable price.
The weather is calling for chances of light showers in the morning, clearing in the afternoon. I guess we will have to wait and see how early and how much.
I will plan on meeting you all there at 11:00 or a little before. The lunch buffet does not start until 11.

Be Safe On The Road!

For those of us determined to ride to Osawatomie Friday, we were rewarded with an awesome day to ride. According to early morning forecasts and radars, we for sure would be riding in nearly constant showers. Call it lucky or whatever you choose, it never happened. We did hit a moderate 10 min. rain coming up 69 from the south, but that was it for the day. After that you could not have asked for a nicer riding day.
Twenty Romeos made it to the Whistle Stop Cafe for lunch. The Whistle Stop has a daily buffet that is not huge, but the selections on it were very good for a very reasonable price.
It was nice seeing Cliff and Leland again. Sounds as though Leland is doing very well following his heart procedure.
Ten bikes was the final count in the parking lot. For those who took the risk of getting wet, they enjoyed a fabulous riding trip.
