I hope you all had as good as time as I did yesterday. The food was good and also the service. I know it got a little backed up when the main crowd hit but then it always does.I ate first and then went to the old dealership. While I was paying, Linda came out to thank us for being there and I said "You do know that we aren't all in town yet"? I think I saw a little fear cross her face. I was right but I think only a couple of bikes came in after that.
To me a day like yesterday was perfect for a group like us. First it was made to order for riding. Then the old car dealership and service station brought back memories for everyone. For most of us these were the real cars of our youth, and who didn't work in a gas station at least once in his teens or twenties. Of course for most of us our cars were a little rougher condition that the ones at Bob's. We had a good meal, lots of time and good weather to tell stories and look at bikes.
Thanks again to all of you for being part all of this. A very simple thing that has turned great by having great people in it.
Don
