I just got off the phone with Jennifer (mgr.) to book our next week’s ride. Most of us are pretty much familiar with this little cracker barrel country store on a hilltop just outside Easton, Ks. If you haven’t been here before I think you will enjoy their food and atmosphere. You may even get a chance to meet and talk with Jennifer as I do when we Romeos are there.

The weather report says it will be in the 60’s & 70’s with no precipitation in sight. You won’t want to miss this one, so saddle up next Wednesday and I hope to see you there!!

What a pleasant day to ride, all but for the 40 mile an hour wind gusts, it still was a pleasurable ride. There were 19 bikes and didn’t count the 4 wheelers.

While visiting today I was told of some bad news. Jerry Berg (better known as “LOUD”) was involved in a bad accident last Tuesday on his Bike.

After getting home from the ride today, I received this report from Bob Koehn and others and thought many of you would want to know of it. Our sympathy and prayers go out to Jerry & Sallie. May the Lord be with them through the next days and weeks.

Bob Koehn’s Report:
Quick update on Jerry Berg aka “Loud” was in an accident going home from Romeos at Wabash BBQ Tuesday. A SUV hit him, pinned his leg and broke it. Concussion, ankle injury, has had surgery or will have on the ankle. The bike is probably a total. He's at Centerpoint hospital, Independence, Mo room 426 for at least a couple days, then 6 to 8 weeks healing at home. As per conversation with Patty Babcock.
