With some hesitation, yet considerable thought, I'm posting this ride for “Christmas Eve.” It has been requested from among our fellow Romeos that we ride to “THE DEN” in Burlingame, Ks.

I’ve made a call to Mindy, the Mgr. there, and she affirms that the “THE DEN” will be open for lunch on that day. So, there you have it . . . that’s a RAP!! I hope to see those of you who are able to make it next week! Have a “MERRY CHRISTMAS” & a “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!”

It was a foggy day and I'm sure a few decided to not risk being on the road for today's Christmas Eve RTE. Never-the-less 14 made the trip to the destination without any problems. Our fearless leader was one of the cautious ones, but we won't hold that against him this time. The staff was happy to serve us and I think our presence was much appreciated. I could only find four bikes in the street so if I missed yours, I apologize. It was good to be back in my old hometown as it's been a while since I've been there. It was also my first time in "The Den" which I recall 60+ years ago was the Parker's Pool Hall. Oh, the memories from days gone by. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas tomorrow and a happy new year to follow. Now for the pictures...
