Just this morning, the forecast for next Fri. was clear and 56 degrees. Now, they have changed it to a high of 36 and a 30% chance of rain, WTH! We were all excited this morning thinking we would be riding next week. Maybe not so quick. I guess the GW with a fresh oil change and filter may have to stay in the garage a little longer.
Let's meet at Emery's Truck Stop in Deerfield next Friday at 11:00. I was going to make it for 12:00 but she said they might be getting busy for lunch at that time, so I made it the usual 11. Of course, I was still thinking then we would be riding until some nimrod decided to change the forecast!

For a cold, windy, and damp dreary looking day, we had a pretty good turn-out at Emery's Truck Stop. Thirteen Romeo's arrived with four wheels under them to have brunch in Deerfield. Even Jim didn't ride so you know it was cold. It was very nice to have Lyle /Marilyn with us today. I thought Lyle looked and sounded very good, in spite of his health challenges.
Emery's food and service today was the best. They had a daily special of ham/beans, cornbread, and fried taters. Couple of guys got bacon/eggs and pancakes, and Jim had the western omelet. Of course, their burgers and pork tenders are always good. All the times I have eaten at Emery's, I have never left disappointed!
