Friday Sept. 5th looks like a very good riding day, so I scheduled one of the longest trips for many riders in our group. We will be meeting at Breck's Green Acres Restaurant Friday the 5th, near Vassar, KS @ 11:00 AM. Eleven is when they start their lunch with both a salad bar and lunch buffet. According to the weather dude, it should not be a blazing hot ride home, in fact, very fall-like.
I will see you all there @ 11:00 or a little before.

Wouldn't you know it, the forecast five days earlier of mostly clear, no chance of rain and in the 80's, turned into a very cool cloudy drizzly day. It never rained hard enough to get really wet, but enough to be really annoying riding. Since I make reservations almost a week in advance, I would like to thank all of those who still make it on crappy riding days even if it's in a cage. Plus, it's still nice to meet and have lunch together.
Fourteen Romeo's arrived at Breck's Green Acres Friday, six on bikes. We scheduled late enough to have their lunch buffet, and I don't think anyone was disappointed. The salad bar was awesome. The food buffet did not have lots of choices, but what they had was really good and for a very reasonable price.
