It has been over a year since we have visited The Grain Bin Restaurant in Chanute, so let's meet there @ 10:00 Friday the 18th. The Grain Bin is quite a unique little place but very popular in the area.
My app. is showing 86 deg. and 0% chance of rain. However, it is July, and I guess anything could pop-up, mostly in the afternoons. I am definitely planning on riding.
BTW, you might want to check for construction on your route. I know Hwy 39 SW of Fort Scott is still closed at the 39/7 exchange.
ATTN: The Grain Bin accepts only cash or personal check. I do believe they have an ATM on site.

A fairly small group of Romeo's met Friday morning at the Grain Bin in Chanute. Although there were some early, early showers and storms, it turned into a fabulous morning to ride. Eleven Romeo's and Tad/Janets great-nephew Liam, all had a very good breakfast/lunch at the Grain Bin. They always reserve the back room for us to set-up as we please. The service and food both were excellent, and our orders came out quickly. For a small establishment, they seem to do very good business. I think they must be really popular in the Chanute area.
