Let's try one that Romeos have not been to in a long time. We will meet at the Hiway Inn Restaurant in Girard, Ks @ 10:00 Friday the 13th. She was familiar with the Romeos and was excited to have us. She did say they would be able to make burgers at 10:00 AM. Hiway Inn is CASH TRADE ONLY!

To no surprise, there seems to be a small chance of scattered t-storms next Friday. I guess that is what rainsuits are for. I'm counting on riding, preferably with no rain. I will see you all there @ 10 or a little before.

Fourteen Romeos arrived at the Hiway Inn Restaurant Friday morning in Girard for brunch on a very cloudy misty day. Eight were on bikes. The showers never got hard enough to stop and suit-up, but my bike definitely had to go to the carwash after returning home. One of those days.
I'm really glad that Tad threatened to burn my house if we didn't stop here, because it was absolutely worth it. The service was very good, and the food was superb. The best part though, were the prices. I will admit, I haven't eaten anywhere with prices as low as they were. Cliff made the comment that prices in the city are twice, if not three times what we paid. I have already added the Hiway Inn to my spreadsheet with a side note!
