Let's meet Friday March 7th at the Dutch Country Cafe in Garnett at 10:00. We have not been there since May of last year, but if my memory serves me right, it was a class act place. She told me they will have us set-up in the banquet room. I'm quite sure, that is where we were the last time we visited.
The weather as of right now, is calling for very nice temps but a small chance of AM showers. Guess we will just have to wait and see. I know I really enjoyed the ride to Sheldon this week, so I will keep my fingers crossed.
FYI: The gal at Dutch Country informed me that a 20% gratuity will be added to all tickets for groups over ten. I told her that we went through this last year and that I was told the management would not do this to Romeo Groups. She said they are very firm about this policy. So, ???? Guess we will see. Just a heads up.
See you all there at 10 or a little before.

Re: Friday 3/7/25 10:00AM Dutch Country Cafe, Garnett, KS
Fourteen Romeo's arrived at the Dutch Country Cafe this morning in Garnett, KS. Even though the temperatures were in the low 50's this morning, we awakened to a brutal SW wind gusting to 50 mph. This was enough to make everyone travel on four wheels and save the fight for another day.
Good lord, Dutch Country was busy for 10:00 on a Friday morning. It was difficult to find a place to park, in a large parking lot. They were prepared for us anyway in the back banquet room. We had our own waitress, and she took very good care of us. The food and service were exceptional, which is evident by how busy the place always is. For a town the size of Garnett, they have it going on at the Dutch Country Cafe.
