We will meet Friday the 28th at Rockpile Cafe in Sheldon, Mo @ 10 AM. This is a new one that Tad L checked out a few weeks ago and really liked. When I called, the lady manager said she had heard of the Romeo's and was absolutely elated that we were wanting to come. She said she would move tables for us, cook whatever we wanted from the menu, do whatever she could to take good care of us! Maybe the Lamar group has been there. Won't be long, and we will have Joe P back and he would know. Won't lie, I kind of miss that guy.
I surely don't have to tell you the weather is looking much better this week than last. I already have our riding jackets and helmets laid out and shined.
See you there at 10 or a little before.

Eight Romeo's arrived at Rockpile Cafe in Sheldon, MO this morning. Check this out, all eight came on bikes. We would have had more for sure, but the flu bug has hit our group. I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon!
Other than it being very windy on the way to Sheldon, it was a great day to ride. The early morning temps were like 45 deg., getting up to near 70. The wind was starting to lie a little by the ride home. For the last day of Feb., we will certainly take it.
Tad stumbled onto a keeper. The Rockpile was possibly the most hospitable place we have been to. They had tables set for us in advance that would seat 20. Ice water and coffee started coming out immediately, and our orders took no time at all. The food and service were magnificent. The manager came out and introduced herself and personally thanked us for coming. I think it was Jim that told her, "I'm betting we will be coming back."
