MULLINS 1847 REST. MOOREFIELD, WV

Post by shoresr »

We have been chasing the "fall color" and it has been beautiful. Today we headed out Corridor H, Highway 48 to Moorefield, WV. The colors were gorgeous, but we have definitely peaked. Deep reds and browns are taking over, but this is a great ride no matter what time of year.

We tried a new restaurant in Moorefield, Mullin's 1847 Cabin and yes it has been there since 1847. In fact the restaurant makes its home in the Historical Society building. The food was excellant, reasonable portions and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the atomosphere. It made you want to hang out there on a cold winter night with a warm drink.

Mullins 1847 Restaurant resides within the historical landmark ‘The Mullin Hotel’ located at 104 South Main Street in Moorefield, WV. Established on March 1, 2017, Mullins 1847 Restaurant continues to be a renowned hostelry famous for delectable meals and impeccable service. The internal harmony and contentment of our staff, chef inspired house specialties, and the historical ambience encompass our flourishing restaurant. We stand by the historical forefathers and continue to strive to meet the needs of our distinct patrons.

Since Newtown Creamery is closed for the season, Warren had to find a new place. We ended up at Brusters across from the Alamo in Kernstown Plaza. Although, it is ice cream and not soft serve it will have to suffice until he finds something better.
