South Central ROMEO Lunch Ride: Wednesday, June 16, 1:00 PM

Post by roginoz »

It looks like it’s time to go south for lunch, so let’s return to Kristy’s in Anthony. We had a pleasant ride out last time, and the local meteorologists seem to think that we’ll have decent weather this Wednesday. If it rains, break out the rain gear or hop in the car. The food and company will be good regardless of how you arrive.

The place is a little small, and there are local working folks to feed, so Kristy suggested that a late lunch would allow them to serve us better. (I’m all for sleeping in an extra hour, too…) If we arrive in Anthony a little early, we can always socialize before heading over to eat.

TIME:
1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 16

PLACE:
Kristy’s Kafe
110 W Main St
Anthony, KS 67003
(620) 842-3722

Okay----We will have that "Small Group" leaving MotorSports at 11:30 for Kristy's Kafe in Anthony.. REALLY GOOD FOOD.. So make a big effort to be there.. Unless someone shows up with a better route we will take Mac Arthur to #42 to #2...I am certain there are some back roads, but I do not know where they are at...

Well, the "small group" leaving from Motorsport was small this time. (Actually, we were full sized, there were just fewer of us...) Three of us cruised down to Anthony, where we found another four (?) who beat us to lunch. Apparently we just missed Bob Lee, who stopped for lunch on his way back from California. The rain was past by the time we left Motorsport, and we stayed dry all day. (Probably because I had a rainsuit in my top box...) Another good day to ride, good food when we arrived, and good company.
