Looking at the weather, Wednesday is looking pretty shaky. Monday looks best, but since we had a late ride this week I didn't want to get too early next week. Tuesday is looking pretty doable, so I got us set up with a place that came to my attention by way of Lyle Huncovsky (I hope I got that right). If you liked the rustic / woodsy look of the Rusty Tractor, you should like the Hoof and Horn. I've heard good things about this place and it's not too long a ride.
RED ALERT!! It looks like the weatherman did another bait and switch on us. Tomorrow looks like a good day to start gathering animals and build an ark. Wednesday isn't looking any better. I just got off of the phone with Hoof & Horn and they agreed to push it back to THURSDAY. Same time, same place. I hope this doesn't throw a monkey wrench in anyone's plans. I know I had planned to start my campaign for world domination on Thursday, but now that will have to be postponed until sometime in the future. I'll keep you posted.
The forecast has been pretty volatile this week. The promised deluge didn't happen yesterday, and the chances for rain went up to 55% for tomorrow. The forecast reads "A passing morning shower; otherwise, partly sunny, breezy and very warm; a dramatic cooldown over the next couple of days."
For those of us who are going to brave it we will be launching from the Rodeway In @ 10:30.

I would like to see some pics of the "road pounder" himself on some of these lunch runs. I bet it's like looking behind the curtain in "The Wizard of Oz"
