CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE SHOW, MT AIRY, MD

Post by shoresr »

Jim called a ride to the CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE SHOW, in Mt. Airy. https://classicmotorcycleday.org/

Charlie, Albert and I joined him on the adventure. Jim's only mistake was asking me if I would plan a route. The group aptly called the route the "Dave W. GS ride" because Dave ride most of the time on gravel and dirty roads and it seemed like every turn I took today turned to GRAVEL :o Albert and Charlie were on the brite and shiny Harleys and never said a word.
It will probably be a while before they ride with me again. ;) That being said, it was a good day to ride and we enjoyed the show.

They had classes for all makes of motorcycle and ages. All the classes had lots of entries. Besides classes which were judged, there were vendors and a "swap and shop"

Two days earlier I finally washed the winter crud off the Wing. Now this. G/S Dave used his computer skills to hack into Roger's Rever tracks. Nice back road ride to Maryland uh, real back roads. At least a grader went through after the snow melt.
