Geez, I thought all motorcycle rides were free except for gasoline and food! :o  That's all it cost me when the Romeos went there a couple of weeks ago. About 60 of us. Didn't sign up anywhere either. hoser

Actually John there were 71 of us, well 6 of those just stopped in to see what was going on. But the Tavern had a very close estimate on how many would be there. In fact they opened a little early to help get the first riders through. Years back when Guy and Mae's was even more popular than it is now you had to reserve your ribs for a Friday or Saturday. You couldn't reserve a place to sit, but they would hold your ribs for you.

Best estimate is between 300 and 400 Riders attend a Romeo ride sometime during the year. Not bad for a group that has no organization at all. It doesn't matter what group or groups you belong to as long as you enjoy doing what you are doing. Cudos to the KSGMC for being able to change with the times and last so long. They do a different thing than we do and that is good. Provides riders with a choice outside of the Brand Organizations. Always good to be able to do the kind of rides you want regardless of what you ride.

For about 30 years I had a variety of sailboats. One of my favorite magazines had a saying that there is nothing more worthwhile than messing around with boats. I think that applies to motorcycles as well. The time you spend riding and just messing around with your bike is the best therapy you can get.
