North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 3/18/20

Considering the catastrophic events of last week I'm feverishly trying to figure out what went wrong. Whatever demons that have possessed my bike have entrenched themselves and I've yet to find them. I'm trying desperately trying to push one of the Goldwings over the finish line so I can attack my bike in earnest. We'll see what happens.

In any case I have us set up with a place we haven't been to in a little over two years. It was a good time when we were last there and they're looking forward to our next visit.

Here is a message that was posted on Face Book by the Inman Harvest Cafe, where we are scheduled for this week.

"Friends, I'm not going to lie. Everything going on right now has me worried. The last thing I would want is to discover that someone became deathly ill and contracted the virus in my restaurant. But the truth is, I cannot afford to close for the duration. My family makes our entire income from the cafe. That's the truth. So, that being said, we will be open. I completely understand if you are uncomfortable coming in to eat. We are taking even more steps to clean and sanitize common surfaces. I have also stocked up on to-go boxes! As always, everything we offer is available for carry out, and I will post our menu later on this evening, so you can see your options. Also, please see the previous post comments for large chicken carry outs. Thank you for your support. We love you all.
PS Corned beef and cabbage is still on for tomorrow and Friday!"

I am confident that they are taking all possible precautions and I have no plans to cancel this week's ride and I am hoping for a good turn out. I may not have a bike to ride this week but I intend to be there.

The weekly meeting of the minds of the minds once again resolves all the worlds issues and has determined that we will leave from the Roadway Inn @ 11:00.

This will be my first ROMEO ride this year, looking forward to getting the scooter out. Will probably go for the corn beef and cabbage tomorrow as well.

We'll because of drizzle and other commitments I was not able to take the scooter. I did drive down earlier today and picked up a to-go order of Nachos. I let them know I was a Romeo rider so they knew we support their restaurant .
