Jim led 11 of us on a beautiful ride through the Shenandoah Valley and over the mountains. Seventy one degrees and sunny made perfect weather to enjoy the awesome views.

The group met at the tennis courts for a 7:30 departure where its was decided where were would go and how to get there. After Jim conducted a short "riders'" meeting to ensure we were all on the same page, OFF WE WENT ;)

Our destination was the Hayfield Family Restaurant in Gore, VA. Jim made the 30 miles trip to Gore into a 60 mile fun ride that was enjoyed by all.

After a good breakfast and a fun time Jim "counted heads" to make sure we all made it back to Trilogy and we did.

Being one of the newer riders, I want to thank Jim R. for introducing me to the great roads of Virginia. He has been here for 10 years+ and believe me he knows the roads. ;) Plus I have picked up a lot of pointers from THIS RETIRED "humble" police officer. Sure glad to have him as my "riddin buddy"

Don't forget there is a "club" meeting this Tuesday 8/28/18 in Rachel's Kitchen at 10:00 am

Check out the places we go to eat by clinking on this link. You can also plan routes and estimate time.
