Well, we were blessed with a beautiful day, even with the little wind that was present. Lee Sevart and I left out of Wichita and rode 2-laner's all the way up to Hesston. We had a really enjoyable ride. When we arrived at Scoop's, it was 11:40. Most had already arrived, and were already eating, which meant we were able to walk right up to the counter and put our orders in with NO WAITING....Ha-Ha, take that. We were lucky to find 2 open chairs and sat with Bob and the group. We had barely sat down when the VERY helpful waitress brought Lee his malt, and it was just a few minutes when she brought our orders to us. The staff were very quick, helpful, and friendly, one couldn't ask for much more than that. The food was very good as usual. Most finished off with some ice cream, then went outside to check out the motorcycles and talk. Like normal, there were some very interesting bikes there, with questions following about this and that, or "that is a nice accessory", "where did you get it". After a half hour or so, everyone seemed to start putting on their gear and got ready to leave. With the bridge being out just north of 50 hiway on Ridge Road, made everyone think about alternate routes back home, which made for some interesting riding. Once again, Lee and I rode 2-lane blacktops back to Wichita, and again had an enjoyable ride. The rides to, and the fellowship at these lunch rides, are fantastic..... Thanks for setting them up for us Bob.

What a great ride, my wife joined me this time and really enjoyed it. I hope she comes along alot more, although this is about my second time to the lunches I look forward to more. Hope the winter isn't too bad, lol, if you know what I mean.
I also want to mention the ride to The Hub in Arkansas. This was outstanding and hope we can make it next year. Rick and I followed Bob and Ron on our rides in the elements which wasn't too bad.
