I had been thinking south or southwest this week but plans change so northwest it is and we're going to return to an old favorite and it's been nearly a year since we've been there. The last time (April) we were there we drew a pretty large crowd and it looks like we're going to have spring like weather next week so it will feel like it's April.

The South 40 Cafe is open for breakfast and at 11 they switch over to the lunch menu. They hadn't decided on the main special yet (she thought it would probably be a pork tenderloin but they always have spaghetti and meatballs on Wednesdays also).
So join us between 10:30 and 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28 at the:
South 40 Cafe
401 Hwy. 99
Westmoreland, Ks.

GREAT turnout as you'd expect on an incredibly nice day at one of our favorite spots! There were a good 40+ motorcycles in attendance (Larry took a count as best he could though a few had already left when we got finished). Can't remember when this group has had so many bikes show up in the so-called "dead of winter" which it definitely wasn't today. Everyone had a great time then dispersed to various points for pie and/or MORE riding in weather too good to pass up!
Unfortunately Mick wasn't able to be there because he got "knocked for a loop" as he put it by some kind of bug that would have made riding, how shall we say, a rather stop-&-go experience. Hopefully he's starting to feel better now. THANKS to Larry # 2 who stepped up to the plate and took these pictures for us:
