The smoke from the Canadian wildfires limited the visibility, but not the ride.
We headed down Skyline Drive to Skyland Lodge for lunch. The limited visibility caused by the smoke must have limited the traffic, because we had Skyline Drive all to ourselves.
After lunch we headed down 211 to Sperryville, one on the "twistists" roads around to the Copper Fox Distillery is located in the Sperryville River District behind the Market Place.
The smoke was not a problem. It was in the upper eighties when we went through Front Royal and lower seventies when we got to Skyland. It was a good day for a ride.
