We were at Mapleton in September and were really impressed. So, lets meet back there again Friday the 23rd @ 11:00 AM. What I remember is the size of all their sandwiches and the reasonable prices. It looks as though we will probably not be riding again. But hey, January will soon be coming to an end, so it will be warming up before we know it. We just have to get through Feb.
I will plan on seeing you all there at 11 or a little before.

Be Safe On The Road!

If not for the fact that I have to report to work @ 4:00AM Sat. morning to plow roadways, it would be kind of exciting to meet out for lunch just ahead of a major winter storm breathing down on us. Well, maybe 30 years ago, not so exciting anymore. In fact, it's a major pain in the you know what!
Nine Romeos came to the Mapleton Cafe today to have breakfast/lunch. Some of the orders were pretty slow coming out, but no one was in a big hurry to get back out in the cold cold north wind. Of course, the main discussion was the weather and snowfall amounts. I think we came up with everything from 6" - 36". Oh, we also talked about the Page family. We were also delighted to have some old time Romeos, Lois and Dale Brillhart meet up with us today since they live about 4 mi down the road from the cafe.
