Let's make a run up to Amsterdam Hometown Cafe Friday, May 5th @ 10:00. Amsterdam has always been very popular with Romeo Riders, and it has been six months since we were last there. The weather is calling for chances of showers/pop-up t-storms most of next week but mainly for later in the afternoons. Hopefully, we can squeeze in another good ride, we have been lucky the last couple weeks.
See you all there at 10:00 or a little before.

What a turn-out we had this morning at the Amsterdam Hometown Cafe. I rolled in exactly an hour early to find a hand full of Romeos already sitting out front on the large wooden bench drinking hot coffee and enjoying the great morning weather. Twenty-three Romeo's arrived to have a splendid breakfast together and I think the final count of bikes out front was eighteen.
I guess you could say we started the special events off for Amsterdam this weekend. We learned on FB that they are having what they call the "Second Friday/Saturday" each month all summer, starting with a car show on Friday night and vendor booths on Main St Saturday morning. I did notice a lady out in the street taking pics of our bikes.
As usual, Amsterdam provided exceptional food and service, and maybe the best part was the fabulous day to get out and ride.
