KC Area Weekly Ride Tuesday 5/7/24 Family Cabin Restaurant or McCorkle's

Option A this week is Family Cabin Restaurant in Belton, Mo. It has been six months since we were there. Right now the weather forecast is for sunny and a high of 80 – hard to beat. I told them we would show up around 10:00. I hope you get out and enjoy the day and come join us.

Option B this week will be McCorkle's Eatery and Pub in Cameron, MO, we have not been there in about a year and I'm in the mood for a good tenderloin (their Tuesday Special!). Forecast is for Warm and clear, looks like a good day to ride and take the long way home. They don't open 'till 11:00 see you then, as always be safe!

We were fortunate to have a beautiful spring day, we took the not so short way to Cameron and the long way home. 106 Miles round trip, a couple of wet spots here and there but a near perfect day. Today we had 9 riders, 15 ROMEOS and 2 Visitors! A couple of Bob B's friends from Faultless live near there and stopped by. McCorkle's took care of us and served lots of tenderloin sandwiches.

We had 28 this morning at Family Cabin Restaurant in Belton, MO. We filled the back room and two of the restaurant's customers moved to another area so that we could have their chairs and table. I credit them with being kind but they may have been wanting to get away from the noise. We all enjoyed the day, the visiting, and the food and service. I forgot to get pictures of the bikes on the way in and was the last to leave the restaurant but there were still enough bikes in the parking lot to give you an idea. I think almost everyone rode today. To me it felt like the first really nice riding day of the year! Special thanks to the restaurant and to the two ladies pictured below that helped take excellent care of us. Thank You!.
