Here's a place we haven't been to for awhile. The first time I heard of it was when I found one of their pens on my kitchen counter. I don't even know where I got the pen from, but it seemed like a good place when I looked it up. It's been about two and a half years since our last visit, and Wednesday looks like a good day for a ride.

So far the forecast is holding for tomorrow. Hopefully it will go better for me than yesterday did. Suffice it to say that out of the myriad of tasks I tackled yesterday, ONE was a success. I'll try again today. It's about an hour and a half ride to Green so if we launch from the Iron Skillet @ 11:30 it should get us over the target on time.

The 1914 Militaire. The only bike I've ever seen with wooden rims and spokes. The manufacturer never referred to it as a "motorcycle". They called it a "car" in their advertising. Note the gear shift lever between the tank and seat, shaft drive, and the landing gear. A not so new concept on the Goldwing.
