VDO Speedometer Repairs

I've got a VDO speedometer off a 76' Rokon that has a broken needle. Does anyone know someone local (i.e. within 200 miles of KC) that could look at/repair? I afraid to tackle the rolled chrome lens cover as it's a good looking unit today!

I don't know of any local repair. However, Palo Alto Speedometer is well-known for speedometer repair in the BMW community.

There is a speedometer repair in Wichita. Don't know anything about them but it came up on a search I made once.
