This will be our first official ride (or drive) of 2016. Brian's been itching to get back to this place for a while (let's hope they still make the guacamole at the table...,) and our cold weather schedule makes it a good time to head back to Derby. We ate at La Hacienda almost a year ago, and had some pretty good food at a reasonable price.

La Hacienda is located just off of K-15 on the north end of Derby, on Nelson Drive. It's in a building that was previously the China Buffet, and was originally a steak place. There's plenty of room, in case we draw a good sized crowd.

Right now it looks like a high of forty-three, partly cloudy, and only a ten percent chance of rain; good enough for a short ride. If we get tolerable weather, ride your motorcycle. If the weather is uncooperative, jump in the car or truck. You need to eat lunch, regardless, and the food and company will be good even if the weather isn't.

I'm going to miss this one. I'll be on my way to South Padre Island, with Gen. Bob and Milt in tow, by the time you head for Derby. I'm sure the Texas ROMEOs will lead us to some decent Mexican food while we're there. Brian will have the sign-in book for the next couple of weeks.

We enjoyed great Mexican food for our first ride of 2016. Two bikes and several cars brought 16 members to the La Hacienda in Derby. Ron rode his Harley Limited Touring 50 miles from Moundridge, earning him honers as the furthest to travel plus the longest bike ride today. Thanks to all who attended.
Great place is in line for next week, announcement will follow soon. See you there-
