On August 29,2014 Big L called a ride to the Shorthorn Restaurant in Chetopa, It turned out to be an unfavorable rainy day and only he and Tad from Independence and John and Linda from Enid showed up. They had good food and enjoyed a nice visit with the owners of the place. You can check out the post of that ride in the discussion forum. Let's try it again this Friday, the 28th. Breakfast ends at 11:00 so if you want that, plan to arrive by 10:30. They have a lunch special starting at 11:00 on Friday. Starla was not sure what it will be...but she says they are always good.

Forecast is for slight chance of rain and a high of 83...sounds like a good day for a ride and a good place for most of us who might want to get a few more miles in than usual for a week. Hope to see you there. Ride Safe

It was a good day to ride...to bad my trike's in the shop. But, Duffy and I had another good ride in the pickup, not to mentions great company and stimulating conversation. We doubled the attendance numbers from year ago and all seemed to enjoy the meals except for Roger. He whined the whole time over the fact Duffy got the last of he biscuits and gravy. My only complaint was they need to use larger plates to hold the amount of food served. Here are a few shots to verify we were there for those who might need the proof. Have a good week. Think we'll stay more north next week.
