Here's the score...Rain 4, Lyle 1 Since Doyle favored me with this position, we have had five rides. Of those, it has rained on four and two of them were so rained out that only three attended one and only one came last week to Parker. Ask Tad for the photos he has of the crowd. I'm beginning to feel I might be in a state of disfavor! But, being the optimist I am, let's try another Friday ride. This time we'll go to St. Paul where the food is good and the prices are even better...now, watch them be increased.
Duffey has all tracheotomy and ventilator equipment off and, on last Thursday, had his first taste food in 39 days. First thing he wanted was a Dr. Pepper. Fred and Heloise saw him that day and said he seemed to be improving. His spirits had to be improved with the plan for some semi-solid food for his evening meal. No word about getting back to Kansas, but Judy says it is obvious he is getting better.
So:

This is my family reunion weekend so it will be my second miss of three in a row. Ride safe and, I sure hope, dry.
