Guys - First I want to direct you guys back to last weeks lunch ride postings. Harold Chase has had a time trying to get his pics posted and by accident I got to playing around and wala...they ended up on the site. Check 'em out. Now that I found a way to get 'em on the report he may send us more. Let's hope!
Now, for this week....I've had a time trying to find one for us to go that we've no been to is quite some time. Actually I thought I found a brand new one that we've never ever been to but it turns out to be open only in the evening. Wouldn't work! Any way here's a good one we've only been to one time but we made such an impression on them that they remembered us.
Actually it's quite common that they remember us. We make and impression.
Let's hope the weather is a bit milder than we had last week and everyone be very careful and if you haven't checked your fork stantion tube bolts recently, or ever, do it before you head out Wednesday.

Here's the time...........................................11:30 am

Here's the place............................Lone Wolf Restaurant and Catering
111 E. 1st. St.
Ellinwood, Kansas 67526
620-564-2829

As always...................ride careful, ride safe and I'll see you in Ellinwood. Richard

Guys - I think we may have a new "Official" photographer for the ROMEO's. As mentioned, I took off yesterday and forgot to pick up my cell phone aka my camera from off the charger. Fortunately Harold Chase came to my rescue and may have inadvertantly got himself a new job. He uses a real camera so the photos are quite a bit better than I could ever hope to get. Thanks again Harold for coming to my rescue. By the way, it may not be a perfect way to get them on here but I tried it out and they all came up.
Many of you have asked about my friend Harvey that had a slight mishap on his way to lunch last week and wrecked his bike. I'm happy to report that the outcome was no broken bones. He's a bit bruised and is hobbling on a badly sprained sprained left foot but thankfully is otherwise OK. His bike is in need of some healing but Hopefully Harvey willl get it back in shape and be back in our midst sooner rather than later as the saying goes.
I really enjoyed the place we went to yesterday. Actually I wasn't aware that they had moved from the Southwest side of main street and by the time I got there (I had taken the wrong road, Imagine that) I went by the old location and didn't see a soul. I panicked! As I backtracked, I turned to my left and saw the bikes. Whew!
What a great turnout! The sign in sheet reflects 32 but I'm sure as late as I was we probably missed some that were already leaving just as I arrived. I nociced several unfamiliar bikes on the street and it's always a hoot to look 'em over. This is part of what makes the ROMEO's so much fun ... just seeing what shows up!
One of the guys suggested that I post everyones name on here so you guys can get a better grasp on names and where we are from. I thought it was a good suggestion and will do so periodically but if anyone has an outstanding warrant or is on a secret witness protection plan, you might want to let me know so I can refrain from future postings that may reveal your little secret.
Ken Schrader from Great Bend posted low mileage today with only 10 miles to lunch today, hardly getting the oil in his Spyder warmed up but Long Distance reported was 1455 miles from Port Orange Florida by Cliff Patton. Now I was really excited to hear about that thinking the word about the ROMEO's had finally gotten out but then a little bird told me that his Honda Shadow was in the back of a truck. Foul! Fortunately I had forgotten my coveted long distance award! An award improperly earned would only reduce the value of this coveted trophy!
So, before I forget, here's who was in attendance today, straight from the sheet.........

I did not delete those pics and have no idea what happened. I resent them to Richard today---Monday.
