Hey ROMEOS lets go south to a new old place… The last time we were at this place it was called Double RR Cafe and it closed for a while and reopened as Beans & BBQ, well John says it is good for breakfast and not as good for lunch so lets go and give it a try…. I know this will be a longer ride for our friends from the north end of the area at about 90 to 95 miles one way so if that is a bit too far we will move back to the north next week so more can join in the fun. John and Linda will have a head start on us for this one as they live in Edna... Linda’s Harley wont even get warmed up on this ride… ha ha I will try and make this one so I will plan on seeing you all there… Ride Safe … Big L

In my travels during my working years, seems like Edna was known as "the town to tough to die." Isn't that the place with a wide boulevard/median but no houses? Now where did I put that picture of the cafe...

Well ROMEOS…. We had a official get together today…. Fred and Maxine were out and about and Maxine although not at 100% she seemed to be doing well… They drove the suv in to the event she did not know if she could take the 160 mile round trip just yet, anyway its good to see them back in action…. We had a good turnout today we had twelve riders show up and one of them came in from Topeka that was quite a ride for him… I forget his name… I still need to get that note pad for things like this…. Three of these folks I had never seen at one of our events before its always good to see new folks show up to these events and thank you for riding in and joining us…. We even got greeted by the City of Edna for coming to their town to eat and spend a few dollars, this was a nice welcome, all in all we had a great time and a big thanks to all of you who joined us today Later and Ride Safe…..
