What a fun day we had today at Sisters and Friends in Hume, MO. Kathy, Amy and the rest of the girls do such a good job, that we almost feel like family. I can't think of a better compliment to give them.It was so good to see Jakala, Randy's granddaughter. We have watched her grow up into quite a young lady. Jakala thanks for taking time out of your summer to come say HI to you Ol' friends. We all appreciate it.
We got an unexpected visit from Bernie but we missed his lovely wife. There are gone all the time and are now heading off to Alaska in their 5th wheel for 6 and maybe more weeks. How wonderful, you guys have a great trip.
It was good to see Lloyd, over with the Butler gang. Nothing wrong, he has just been a busy boy. Bill even joined the Oatmeal Gang, Mike and Don.
We had an exceptionally large turnout today, due to the number of guys that rode in from Southeast Kansas Romeos and Eastern Kansas. Bucky was telling Mick what kind of sleeping bag he needed for their upcoming trip to WYOMING.

This is the group I rode with that successfully completed their IRON BUTT certificate for riding 1000 miles in 24 hours. Only they did it in 17 hours!!!
I will also take credit for inspiring Kenny and Roy from Butler who rode 1000 miles in 24 hours on their trip to Georgia this week.
Three completed the Bun Burner, 1500 miles in 36 hours
Marion P, Barton B. and Bill B.
Congratulation to you all. That's a lot of miles and everyone arrived home safely.

Just the one picture from todays ride to Sisters and Friends. The group Roger led for the Iron Butt certificate, 1000 miles in 24 hours, showed their appreciation of his efforts by presenting him with a nice card and gift certificate. Roger, you have gone "above and beyond" so many times, for so many of us, and we all do appreciate it.
