Did anybody see a higher temperature than 76? Hard to believe this was a day in February. The total count was a little unsure at Overbrook today. Larry gave me a count of 57 bikes, Hoser said 60-62 and there was one passenger. Going with the lowest number I think this might have been a record turnout for any Romeo ride with the exceptions of the joint rides of both Central and Eastern groups. I thank you all for the patience shown for the wait staff. They started with one cook and someone came in to help. As you could tell we were more than expected. I did tell them to expect 35 or so, that has been our average lately, who would have guessed.
I was stuck inside until 1230 and all my riding "Buddies" had deserted me for dessert. So I moseyed around for a hundred miles or so and made it home in time for supper. A great day to be an old man.
Jerry will be adding pictures and maybe Larry will also. Feel free to add how you finished the day with text or pictures. See you all next week.
