Serious business being discussed at the corner booth behind the door.
Bucky's first "brunch" ride of the season was attended by 32 ROMEO's at the colorful Whistle Stop Cafe in beautiful downtown Mayetta. Not sure what time the earliest rider got there but the last one to arrive was Dave from Olathe who showed up about 10:50, unaware that this heat wave of temps in the 60's had everyone up and at 'em early! When I left shortly before 11, there were only about 5 ROMEO's left. They were starting to run out of stories to tell. Turns out it was just another great day to be a ROMEO!

This is the place. Whoo, whoo!
Anybody that had business at the post office had to walk a bit.
Harold, Jr. was serving as the town host and resident local today and was giving tourist advice to Paul and LaVida who rode in from the Smithville area.
Swanee was on the Triumph today, after his long ride to Tampa yesterday with Harold, Jr.
The long table was full of big breakfast afficionados.
More tourist details over breakfast. Harold is full of it, tourist advice that is. Make sure to notice that Paul got his picture featured today, since his wife has been upstaging him in photos from other ROMEO rides. Paul, the Eastern Kansas group provides an equal opportunity photo op.
Tammy provided great service today. Thanks Tammy for your big smile and friendly demeanor. The ROMEO's appreciate it.
This is a picture that Ruth would have been in if she hadn't been upset that her picture has been included in the past without her permission. Duly noted Ruth.
Had to ask Jim to lean in to get in the picture. Santa wore his red shoes today and drove in on his bright red HHR. Don't think he brought any toys for John.
Been a long time since any of these boys have ridden a school bus! A long, long, long time!
This photo was submitted by Larry #2, who is auditioning for his role as team photographer as well as ride coordinator the last two weeks of July. Nice work #2, you're hired.
Too bad we can't add sound effects to these pictures-this Triumph makes some serious noise.
Just like when an old dog is hanging out, as soon as the sun hits him, he migrates to the shade. Just like this bunch of ol' dogs.
This is a closer view of the action in the Mayetta Recreation Center. Notice that no matter what you do, you can't separate #1 and #2.
