Lunch 11am Pomona,Ks May 29th

Post by bucky »

A couple weeks ago Mick and I stopped here on the way back from lunch to check it out and have some pie. It has new owners, new menu, cleaned up and ready to go. Said they would love to have us. We think they are worth a try. And they could use a little boost to get them going. You know the ROMEO always try to help.
Heres the place

Leroy's BBQ

See you there

Leroy's BBQ in Pomona was the host for this week's edition of Eastern Kansas ROMEO and a great turnout responded in spite of threatening skies. It was difficult to record the day's activities since a good crowd arrived around 10ish, guys kept dribbling in and then another group arrived after 11. There were about 35 bikes and 4 arrived on 4 wheels. Although Leroy isn't the owner anymore, the new owner provided a pulled pork and fries special for $4.49 that seemed to be pretty popular. All in all, a pretty good day for riding, temps in the high 70's, overcast and no rain to speak of. Just one more great day to be a ROMEO!
