I rode with 600 motorcycles to the three crash sites, Shanksville, PA, the Pentagon, DC, and the World Trade Center in New York City. In three days they moved the 600 riders over 1100 miles. It was exhausting, emotionally and physically. What I saw and read about 911, twenty five years ago back in Kansas was nothing compared to what it was to the people out here, even today. It was an experience I will never forget.

Glad you enjoyed it. More pictures from other riders have been added and I am told more are coming. Co-riders can take picutures while we are moving. In every town along the whole trip, the streets were lining with people waving flags. Every overpass had first responders with fire trucks and flags. The schools let the kids stand in front of the schools and wave. Some people waited on the street for four hours, for us to come by.
Our police escort of over one hundred, stopped cross traffic at every street and every town. They would stop the traffic while our 3 mile procession went by and race back to the front at 90 mph to do it again. It took over 20 minutes for us to pass. They stopped all northbound traffic, in all four lanes from the Pentagon in DC, to the 911 Museum in New York City.
Yes, it was truly amazing.

I lived in Kansas City, when the KC Romeo group was started. Glad it is still going strong. It is an amazing organization. Don't forget to thank Jerry and all the group leaders. It is a lot of work.
