Option A this week is another new lunch place for the ROMEOs, Roscoe’s BBQ in Edwardsville, KS. The original owner retired and closed the doors in 2022. In January this year his sons reopened it and it has been recommended to me a couple of times. I told them we would be there when the doors open at 11:00. You’ll see Roscoe’s sign under the big Conoco sign that sits in front of their entrance. Weather is supposed to be a little chilly, 48 for a high. 2, 3 or 4 wheels, I hope you can make it.
When I gave the man behind the counter my card, he asked what he had to do to join. I explained the website and said all you do is show up to eat! He was pretty interested.

Option B this week is Big Biscuit on Antioch Rd in KCMO. We've been there several times, good food and service. Breakfast and lunch served all day, I think 10:00 is a good time and with the chilly weather, 2,3 or 4 wheels, see you there.

Sorry friends, we had to get to Big Biscuit early due to a doctor’s appointment. We hope everyone survived the unusual cold and damp weather.

Today we had 20 ROMEOS and no riders at the Big Biscuit. Gary and Mary came early but still count! We all braved the cold, blustery, damp and sometimes snowy end of March Day. We all enjoyed a good breakfast and lots of conversation, the service was great, thanks Big Biscuit servers!

Re: Tues 3/26/24 Roscoe's, Edwardsville, KS or Big Biscuit, KCMO
We had 20 ROMEO's at Roscoe's for lunch. With the cold weather and some snow flurries, I decided to leave the bike parked and so did everyone else. I was a little worried about order and pickup one at time at a counter but it worked pretty smooth and fairly fast. The young lady calling out the order numbers for pickup strained her vocal cords trying to get us to recognize that she had a order ready for someone to claim. Anyway, the food was outstanding and, as usual, we filled the wait time with visiting. Some mentioned to me that they had been here before and were glad to be back. I enjoyed the morning and hope you did too.
